Service was a little slow, but very nice wait staff. Clean restrooms. The food: AWESOME. We had the Green Curry, Coconut Soup (forgot name), and Pad Se Ew. All three were slightly sweet which I really liked. I will definitely be back during my trips to Tacoma.

I will break down the review into four areas: service, food, price, and appearance:

Service: server was very friendly and was very attentive until we got our food. She did ask if we liked it but then we didn't see her until we had been done eating for about 5 minutes. I think she got sat with 2 new tables but we were ready to go and had to wait for the boxes and check.

Food: I got an eggplant dish that i really liked but my partner said the sauce was too sweet. The jasmine rice it came with was cooked perfectly.  My partner got the salmon pad Thai which we were split on. The salmon was cooked perfect and delicious, but the pad Thai was soooo sweet. Need more peanut and less sugar!

Price: for the size of salmon you get 13.99 is a great deal. The tofu eggplant was only 10.99 and a Big portion. Definitely good value for the amount of food you get. We each had leftovers.

Ambience/decor: we had passed by silk Thai so many times. From the outside it looks like a little restaurant in a strip mall, but it's like being transported into a different realm when you step through the door. Tons of Buddhist and Thailand decor with great wood work is everywhere. Very romantic and dark inside. Such a cool atmosphere. Would love to go back at night! 

Overall: great dining experience for a good value, but if you don't like sweet food ask them to omit the sugar.

There were 4 of us on a Saturday night. We each ordered something different and everyone was very happy with their dinner. The menu is a little confusing. I didn't realize there would be noodles in my dinner, and apparently rice is automatically served with the meal so you don't need to order extra, but the waitress asked if I wanted rice. I'm still not real clear on what happened there. The meals were big enough that no one ate the rice. The tea was Jasmine tea. I thought it had a strong flower scent and a weak taste. My friend didn't notice the scent. It was better for smelling than for drinking, in my opinion. The prices were fair and the decor had lots of interesting things to look at.

Great food. Service is good, but a little slow when busy or a large group. I’ve been here many times with both small and large groups and enjoy their green curry which is very creamy, sweet and tasty.
Careful as a vegetarian. I have on occasion found chicken in my tofu dish. The service was great, though, and they gave me a whole new dish.

Amazing food, great service, and an awesome atmosphere!
We got there a little later than we expected, so it was an hour to closing. They immediately acknowledged us when we came in through the door and gave us a menu when we asked for food to go. 
The guy who took our order was super nice and offered us water while we waited. He was kind enough to ask us about our evening and made sure to wish us a good night after apologizing for the wait time, which was pretty much exactly what he had told us up front, about 20 minutes.
Two entrees and an appetizer were about $30. The size of the portions and what you get are perfect for the price.
