This store always has the finest, unique, quality items and their prices are beyond fair. I've shopped this location many times; on one occasion they actually debited my card twice and I called and they said I had to come out there to dispute the charge. When I got there something was wrong with the system and I would have to come back. I just let the bank handle it and hadn't been angry about that. This last go around I took a little personal. I had checked out on a Friday evening and my total was a little less than $65. The clerk couldn't break a $100 bill, my debit card won't swipe and she couldn't input the numbers manually, and they can't run a check as debit. No big deal, I told her I was going to feed my kids and I'd be back, but was unable. I called first thing Saturday morning to make arrangements. I wish I could insert a sound clip here, because plain text just can't convey the rude, loud greeting I heard when I called. "Goodwill this is Tonya", doesn't look offensive, but it was, SHE was. I began to explain, and wanted to come in Sunday, but she cut me off, knew the situation and told me that the clerk shouldn't have held the items overnight in the first place. I was taken aback; and at a loss for words I just said bye and hung up. Not pleased with Tonya from Goodwill Lee's Summit, MO.

This is the MOST expensive Goodwill store in Kansas City. I've been to all of them and this is the most expensive by far. It does has some nice items, but a lot of the items are drastically over priced.

They don't take Christmas tree's. Don't believe them if they say they do over the phone. You can't use their dumpster when you get there. Don't believe them if they say you can... it's locked. One star for admirable coordinated trolling amounting to 1 1/2 hour of F'kery.
