This Goodwill has definitely lost it's appeal. It use to carry a much larger amount a clothing in more sizes. Making the trip much more worth the stop. Now the various amount of things have decreased and I never stop any more!! Now I go to savors or the salvation army to get my needs met!

I went in after leaving 10 boxes of beautiful donations! I found a product I had purchased previously for about $1.it had no price tag. Last time It had no tag it was taken back to manager and she said how about $1? So I paid $1 plus tax. This time I asked for her to go back and price 3 silly empty boxes for Crafting. (I was also purchasing $160 worth of other merchandise! She came back and. Marked it For $5! I declined to purchase! As I declined , I saw her complaining to the man who brought it back to her! Her beef was she thought I misquoted the prices they marked on their product!!! IOmg! It's goodwill! And I just dropped off $300 worth of product for free for the 10th time! Need I remind you goodwill manager that you are not for charity anymore?? It was 3 little craft boxes from target! You sold them for $ 1 last 2 times ! Now you want $5? Is it because my Mom and I looked richer that day? Shame on you!!!!!!!!and to think I pay you the amount closer to the dollar amount UP FOR CHARITY EACH TIME YOU ASk me to when I buy your junk? Wow! Then you actually complained that I didn't want your FREE donated target craft boxes for $5 That I previously bought for $1? I was going to give them to a church group of kids for their project that week! Sad , sad , sad! Cottage Grove Goodwill needs to rethink their management!!we give and give and you take and take!!! please someone pay attention and do something about this!! You are not doing what's right ,fair or full of integrity!!!!!

Im a huge thrift store lover. This is one on my faves. Love 2 floors of treasures. Things are normally very neat and clean. Staff is always helpful and friendly. Pricing for awhile was getting outrageous, noticed that in the past 2 months it's gotten better. Whoever prices the "antique" furniture needs to learn more! Must use a standard price scale because all dressers are the same price, with no consideration of damage or condition. The nice thing is the 50% off sales!
