Small hotel, friendly family owned. Nothing super fancy, but the view from the patios behind the rooms was breath taking. The dunes, the sky, and hummingbirds everywhere. The pool was cozy too. Can't speak to the restaurant in the camp ground area, we didn't eat there. The shop had a decent assortment of arts, souvenirs, and travellers needs.

A wonderful little lodge where every room has a view of the sand dunes. They have all of the basics that any hotel would have. My suggestion though would be to fully gas up before you get there and to pack food. There is a wonderful diner and shop near the lodge but they don't stay open late so if you are getting after hours you could go hungry.

Went with 2 other friends. Place was clean and pleasant and fit the 3 of us comfortably. We arrived late and the hosts were able to accommodate us. There's a restaurant nearby that's open from 8am - 7pm but other than that you have close to no food options. They do have several grills on-site and a fridge & microwave in the rooms so you're encouraged to bring your own food. Free coffee in the office until 9:30am! Overall, an awesome experience.

The RV park is a good place to stay.  The view of the mountains behind and off in the distance by the dunes and the view of the San Luis Valley and the Dunes is worth the stop and stay.  The facilities were clean and functional.  We arrived late, the tourist season was over and the restaurant was closed but the young lady @ the store was a gem, helpful, informative, and very pleasant to speak with.  This place is a Great Stop before going to the Dunes.  Oh BTW, the RV park is in Mosca, CO and for those who don't speak Spanish, Mosca means Fly as in insect.  There is a reason the Spaniards called this place Mosca.

This lodge has the most incredible views of the Sand Dunes. Rooms are dated but pretty comfy and clean. There are gas grills in the common area as well as an indoor pool. The owners are great and very accommodating! We would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area.
