I brought my 2000 Honda CRV in because of a check engine light. All I knew was that it had something to do with the air intake and that something was misfiring. After charging me nearly $150 to only diagnose what was wrong, they told me the problem was the manifold intake gasket that needed replacing, which would cost another $450. Fine, but I had to wait until my next paycheck. So I bring the car in on Thursday night so that I can pick it back up after work on Friday. On Friday I drive out of the lot and the car sounds great!!! Like driving a whole new vehicle. Except, I'm at the gas station on the way home and a man says to me, "Hey, your car is leaking antifreeze." I look, and antifreeze is nearly pouring out of the front end of my car. Alarming to say the least. So I get home and realize that not only are they already closed for the day, they are closed for the weekend! Not a big deal, I can wait until Monday. I just took my car in to have them fix whatever it was that happened while my car was with them Thursday and Friday, and he takes 3 minutes and says, "Your radiator is cracked. We were working over here but it's here that it's cracked so I don't know how it happened." Are you kidding me? I dropped my car off with you and got it back with a cracked radiator??? He told me he could write me up a new quote to have it fixed. I immediately started bawling and told him no. Now, I have an empty bank account and a car that I can't drive. Thanks Greg's!

I love bringing my car to Greg's Japanese Auto for service. They are very professional, they do a good job with the car and I trust them with their work. I love the fact that the offer shuttle service, so I can drop off the car early, they bring me to work and they pick me up when the car is ready.

As a woman I think I'm looking else where.  Not too impressed with them taking advantage of women.  They keep upselling business by telling you some thing is wrong with your car but when you take it to the dealership they tell you "Every thing is fine."   I think I'm done here.  Use to be life long customers but if I don't take a man with me they take advantage of me for being female.  Five stars for customer service but  zero stars for ethicalness.

I've had several attempts of them telling me rodents have been causing damage to my vehicle.  Another mechanic's opinion at more reputable places told me there was no sign nor damage.

They've told me that my water pump needs replacing when it was functionally new and recently replaced.

They told one of my front struts was leaking when the dealership found it perfectly functional.  No damage working perfectly fine.  

Told me the light bulbs in the back needed replacing.  Odd? I use window reflections to see if they're functional.  I checked yesterday.  All functional.

I get the major 10k services done at the dealerships.  Each time I'm in they pressure me to get the most recent service done.  I tell them "No, I got it done at the dealership." and with each visit I get another reminder.

The list goes on.  This is just the last two visits.  Not reputable.  Looking else where.  Good mechanics but not reputable.

Honest company. I've worked here for years in the past and even though I am no longer with the company they are an amazing company and I still bring my cars here for anything from a oil change to brakes and all repairs.

Greg's in Renton replaced the starter on my Honda.  It worked great for a few weeks, until it occasionally failed to start. Each time it would eventually start after several tries and 30-40 minutes, but the times when it failed became more and more frequent until we eventually had 4 back-to-back trips where it failed.  

I left the car with Greg's for four days.  They were unable to replicate the problem and unwilling to replace the faulty starter or fix their faulty work.
