Very nice, even it's tough to park. The short walk is a good opportunity for nice photos of LA. Good for kids. There is a lower lever with big approach about planets. Very very nice. People say that the sunset is very cool. But, thinking about be too crowded, we reach at around 3 PM, was OK. Good pics from LA and Hollywood sign in the background. Recommend.

Pleasantly surprised by Griffith Park. Wow, incredible hiking nestled into the Hollywood Hills. My wife was singing La La Land the entire time. We hiked up to the summit of Mt. Hollywood and took in the amazing views. Parking was a beast with all of the people. The unplanned route we took made for about a 3 hour round trip hike. You can definitely make it to the summit of Mt. Hollywood quicker, but plan your route ahead of time. Like I said, we improvised. It was a great time nonetheless.

Massive urban park with plenty of shaded areas, trails and picnic areas. Tons of places to explore and hike around to. Parking is difficult on weekends due to the crowds, but during the week early in the day isn't bad at all. This place is huge, so bring a backpack with snacks and plenty of water. Dress comfortably and sporty and be prepared for a great expedition. Highly recommended.

Great views but hard to find parking. I recommend to download the park map before coming to the park. FYI: There are no restroom facilities. Definitely a great place for a workout! My inner thighs were burning by the end of the day.

A great place to walk, picnic, or meet friends. With lots of energy and ambition, you can walk all the way up to the Observatory where you have wonderful views of Los Angeles. For those less inclined to hike, you can drive up there as well. The views are just as good!
