We have never hanged out at the park but rather started our hikes here. This place has a lot of places to take pictures with the sign in the back just by walking a bit past the park. The parking is super complicated because there is so many people and so many people park so horrible. Be careful because you can easily get a ticket for parking in the wrong street. Read the signs! The park has a large grass area and a small playground for kids. It is a very diverse area and they allow pets.

Not so hyped place. But nice place to have great views of the Hollywood sign from so near atop The hillock overviewing the lake. Take great snaps. Reaching the place can be little tricky though, winding roads , GPS loose signals sometime. Roadside parking, free though... Have fun on a sunny day.

A nice little park for puppies and play just beneath the famous Hollywood sign. Beautiful houses line the streets in the Hollywood Hills, so you'll probably manage a peek at some great architecture along the way. If you bring your pooch, be responsible for their mess!

This is a lovely park with a great view of the Hollywood sign, you can also hike from this park to the back of the sign (about 6 miles roundtrip), this is a good place to start / park. Has wide open grass area, several benches and picnic tables and even a gated playground for children. Dog friendly as well.

Great place for unobstructed view of the Hollywood sign. Nice little dog park there and you can park on the side road without bothering the neighbourhood. Highly recommended for the Hollywood sign “money shot”.
