If you want a cheap place to stay this place isn't bad but don't expect to have clean towels the whole time you are there. We stayed 2 nights and we only had 2 clean towels. We went to the front desk multiple times to get clean towels and each time were told they don't have any they were in the wash. Not only that but the bed was dirty and the sheets did not fit properly. The pool room was very dirty there were piles of hair all over the floor and the pool water was very cloudy. Bugs and spiders in all the corners. The lobby water feature is also broken and ugly looking. The poor lady behind the front desk seemed to be doing everything. they are severely under staffed and the lady at the front desk said she would have to do everything because the maid wasnt in and she had 30 rooms that were checking out.

Room was supposed to be non smoking but when we walked it the smell of smoke was strong. Toilet overflowed covering entire bathroom floor and front desk said it is common for the third floor. We were offered free breakfast for having to check out early. Breakfast is actually complimentary.

This hotel was very understaffed. The lady at the front desk was doing her best but she was just one person. Then our key cards couldn't open the door to our room. I noticed we didn't get cell phone service (AT&T) but no matter, they have wi-fi...except that it was down. The bathroom was clean but not well maintained, and the furniture in the room was very outdated. Breakfast in the morning was your standard cheap continental, with decent biscuits and gravy. However, the bed - in my opinion the most important part of a hotel room - was comfortable, hence the 3 stars.

The location was nice, far enough away from roads that it was quiet at night and only a short drive away from where we needed to go. However other than that, there wasn't much else going in favor of the hotel. The rooms felt more cramped than cozy, and one of our group members ended up sleeping on the floor for two nights rather than sleep on bunk bed in our room. The breakfast area was very small, even with only 10 people in there everyone was bumping shoulders. The breakfast selection was also rather lacking, with no variety from day to day.

I'm currently staying at the Guest House... Hands down the worst hotel I have stayed at. I feel that a first impression of a hotel is always the lobby. I should have taken note of that when we checked in, WHAT a mess....... And it didn't stop there. We got to our first room that smelt of smoke, the toilet was broken, and the pillows felt like a balled up mess of cotton. I went down to the front desk to let the gal know our room wasn't going to work out with a broken toilet. She then moved us to another room(with NO apology). We get in to our other room the toilet won't flush because water was shut off, turned water on to toilet and water continually runs, pulled hiddabed out to find it's broken and full of nasty crumbs. I call down to the front desk to tell her about the issues and she just blows if off. I WANT A REFUND..... This room is NOT worth $109 a night. Will never stay at another Guest House as long as I'm living.
