Happy attitude good cut, reasonably priced. Imprssed for a mall salon

I went in for a spur of the moment highlight job -- normally I would have gone to my regulalr salon, Adorn, which is great but my stylist wasn't in -- I asked for auburn highlights.  I stated I wanted something easy to maintain, nothing drastic and wanted it to compliment my current hair color.  I specifically stated that I DID NOT want to dye my hair.  After 4 hours, the stylists was still unable to remove the PURPLE highlights and ended up dying my hair, despite telling me it would not color any hair except what she had just highlighted.  I am a professional and work in the schools, obviously having purple hair is unacceptable.  I called 2 days in a row to state my frustration with the fact my hair was purple and was told on the second day that I could not have my money back until I let someone else try to "fix" my hair.  I was told that red highlights can turn out all colors on people's hair (umm, if this is your profession, wouldn't you know how to mix color so that hair turns out the color the customer asks for?) and then was hung up on when I stated that I would rather a competent salon try to fix my hair.  Truly the worst experience ever.
