Not many great suite options for a family of 6, but this hotel fit the bill. The room was plenty big and the hotel staff was some of the friendliest I've encountered. We thoroughly enjoyed the huge hot tub (twice) and the evening cookies they put out for us. The sofa bed left much to be desired so we asked if they had any extra padding or blankets they could lend us, and they replaced the mattress for us. It helped tremendously. They also offer games and puzzles in the lobby for something to do. There's a golf course right behind the hotel and the beach is just across the freeway. If you get your room on the golf course side, the freeway noise is not noticeable. Would totally stay here again! We loved our time in San Clemente, even though it was brief.

I was pleasantly surprised by the staff and the quality of the hotel. The front desk staff were quite friendly and a pleasure to speak with. The room was very nice and the inclusion of a refrigerator was a welcome amenity. And finally, the complimentary breakfast was way more than I would have expected. It wasn't a bagel and coffee station, but a complete breakfast buffet with eggs, sausage, waffles, fresh fruit, cereal, juices, and coffee. Impressive! I highly recommend this location.

Great location close to the beach and local night life. The suite had a separate sitting room with a TV. One day dry cleaning was available and the free breakfast was extra nice. There was a Jacuzzi by the pool which was wonderful since it gets cold at night. We had an awesome experience and would recommend it to anyone and will definitely stay again when in the area!

Great parking, friendly front desk and clean rooms. As Hampton Inns go, this is a good one. We stay here often and they are pretty consistent in their good service.

Wasn't thrilled about the location, I had the "superior view" on the top floor but can't really call it a room with a view when it's literally right next to the freeway and you can barely see the beach. King bed was good, lobby leaves something to be desired. Parking spaces are like they didn't have enough lot space for every room so they took two feet off of each one, would be small even by Euro standards
