A cozy place to go with friends or family. The menu has options for almost everyone, from vegetarian to fish and meat . I also sometimes like to come in and just sit at the bar for a cocktail. I have been many times and enjoyed both food and the kindness of the staff! my most recent visit there, however, there was a new bartender (or maybe the bartender was sick that day) and the drinks did not taste right at all and took an arm and a leg just to finally receive my drink order. It was very disappointing. Perhaps it was just an understaffed day. Hopefully my next visit will be back to normal again!

The food at this place was exceptional. We were also able to get a reservation 3 hours in advance when our other reservation cancelled on is. They checked our coats which was much appreciated on a snowy night. The sommelier visited our table and even let us sample the wine we ordered that was corked. :( they also had cigar boxes on the tables that were your cell phones do you could be "present" during your meal. Great great experience!

Hearth exudes warmth and a feeling of home. The dining room is all rough timbered wood and has the aura of a big, all inclusive family. The food is very delicious but hardly family style. An unexpected pre-dinner taste of winter pumpkin soup was landed on our table followed by delicious octopus salad. I had a superb skate dish entree that was soft and extraordinarily tasty served on a swirl of mashed potatoes. Service was great and personal. Our server easily brought other wine selections after we rejected an especially bitter New Zealand white. Overall a wonderful experience.

Excellent service, for was incredible, and the tasting menu was not only super yummy, but ridiculously filling! Go for the wine/alcohol pairings-worth it. Cute, cozy decor that's perfect for a date night.

Loved it. Delicious food and cocktails. Tasting menu was excellent and the approach was different. Instead of a continual parade of tiny dishes the tasting menu came out with two or three dishes at time and family style. Worked very well.
