The food was fairly inventive and some dishes were tasty (aside from mealy eggplant paired with undercooked octopus), but our dinner was completely overwhelmed by poor service. Narcissa is either understaffed, or worse yet, the servers does not care. Our entire row of two-top tables suffered extraordinarily slow attention, so much so that I started timing how long finished plates were left uncleared on our table (21 and 18 minutes between courses). No wonder we were able to get a day-of reservation at 8:45 on a Friday. The steak tartare was good, and the carrots wellington creative, but we'll not be returning. A shame the kitchen staff is being held back by the front office folks.

Amazing food in a great location. The locally sourced ingredients are sure to guarantee a great culinary experience for the most sophisticated paladar, although the service seems to be lacking logistical coordination and customer service appreciation, particularly considering they operate within a hotel. As for the general ambience and decor the the restaurant is cozy with some creative accents but there seems to be an overall disconnect between the food and aesthetic concept.

I love the space and vibe of the restaurant but the food and service was below average for a Michelin star restaurant. The scallop dish was good but I did not like the steamed bass dish and the octopus was okay. The food arrived cold/luke warm at best. The halibut was dry.

Great ambience and food. The French toast bites with lemon cream curd in particular were delicious

We had the most lovely Thanksgiving at Narcissa. The staff was accommodating. Our server was Johnathan. We were early for our reservation and still seated right away. We were offered our preference of table, corner booth or not. The Somm was able to get us a bottle of wine that was only listed by the glass. The albariño was delicious. The food was amazing. I personally really loved the squash (pictured), carrots Wellington, and potato puree (side). My partner enjoyed the leek chestnut soup (pictured) and pork chops. We got WAY more food than we expected and we ended up taking a lot home including our dessert. I had mentioned to the waiter (Johnathan) that I was a vegetarian. I accidentally ordered the Arctic Char thinking it was chard —the vegetable. The staff was so kind and gracious and corrected my mistake. They didn’t make me feel embarrassed or dumb at all. I couldn’t ask for anything more. I highly recommend this restaurant.
