The great thing about this place is, it's in the airport. You won't ever get lost trying to find it. Unfortunately when you get in, you are greeted by staff who don't seem to be doing much. On top of that, the impression they give out seems to be you need to already know what to do when you come in. 

The thing is, not everyone knows what to do to rent a car. You almost hope that they will guide you from the beginning of the process to the end. With this particular branch, they unfortunately do not. Hopefully in the near future they will be helpful and make sure we are set up for success.

Made reservation to have hand controls put in rental a week in advance.  Called 2 days before pick-up, and day of pick-up to confirm that the vehicle would be ready with hand control installation.  Hand controls were not installed at time of pick-up.  Spoke with supervisor about breakdown in system, she just said it happens.  Incompetence coupled with apathy is a bad combination.  Sat for 2 hours waiting for the hand controls because I could not drive without them.  The only reason I am giving 2 stars instead of 1 is that a nice Hertz person who worked at the counter felt bad that we had to wait so long and brought us a bottle of water.

My first time to Reno and everything went smoothly.  They were able to change my car to a AWD Subaru - which came in handy when driving to CA as I hit a snowstorm (in JUNE??) and it made for some easy driving.
