HERTZ is one of the largest ripoffs I have ever heard of. First and foremost, their level of service is below subpar. I sat in their shop for an hour waiting for a vehicle to be cleaned and filled with gas. When their associate had not returned an hour later, they ended up giving me a vehicle that was sitting on the lot, uncleaned. So what did I wait an hour for in their shop? Literally nothing. Everything they did for me in an hour, they did for me in the last four minutes of that hour. It gets better. Return the tank with one gallon less than what you received it with, and guess what you will be charged. $10 PER GALLON OF GAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THEY CHARGE $10 FOR EVERY GALLON OF GAS THAT YOU DO NOT RETURN THE CAR WITH. LEAVE THAT TANK WITH 3 GALLONS LESS THAN WHAT YOU RECEIVED IT WITH, AND YOU COULD BE CHARGED MORE THAN YOU SPENT ON THE ENTIRE RENTAL FOR GAS ALONE!

We rented a car at 2pm.... They didn't have one avaliable so they tried to up sale us  for 25 additional a day  when we said no they asked us to come back at 230. We came back at 245 no car.  It's 3pm and we are still waiting. Disappointed.

Update: got the car finally at 320. It wasn't washed or cleaned out. It had mud coming up the sides. When I returned it they tried charging me an additional 15.00 for another driver ( which they never said there was a charge for when adding my as a driver). I am MORE than frustrated with this entire experience and it's enough to make me not want to use Hertz ever again.

Great price and customer service. Renting was made easy by the Manager of this Hertz location on East Colfax in Denver who was exceptionally courteous and helpful.

Willie was great. He was extremely friendly and personable, and had me in and out fast! I was given a clean car that suited my needs.

Polite, convenient, friendly, professional....
Generally I would need to rent from an airport location, but with friends coming by for the long weekend we went with a close by city location. It was simple, quick and easy, no problems whatsoever. If only the airport locations could do as well. Hertz always provides a good rental experience, or I suppose as good as one can be, this one was by far superior. Excellent vehicle and rental experience. Thanks Hertz!
