Didn't get the car we wanted but the staff was very cooperative

Bunch of CROOKS! Assistant manager, besides being rude, rented me a dirty car that was missing half a fender and the remaining half was ZIP-TIED to be kept in place. I got the car for a roadtrip and by the middle of it, the bumper was falling off (I only drove on interstates 90 and 80 and main highways) and the fender (below the bumper) was dragging below! You can hear it dragging on the ground as I drove, it was pretty scary! Luckily, the Oklahoma Hertz office took the car and gave me another. If you're going to rent a car, how are you going to mark off the pre-inspection list as "no damage besides a scratch on the rear bumper" and rent me a car with a broken fender that's kept together with a ZIP-TIE? I have pictures of the zip-tie. I couldn't make this stuff up. Very unsafe practice.

BEWARE they charge your credit card for this third party company "PlatePass"  They told me not to worry about the device that was in the car (which is correlated to the PlatePass) and that I won't be charged, $32 later I was charged.  The charge is not a lot but this is the principal, I WILL NEVER USE HERTZ AGAIN!!!  In addition they sell you on the service that you can return the car empty and they will fill it up "I was quoted $30" (stating they give me the lowest gases prices because they have a contract with the gas stations), I then get a $35 charge, it doesn't even cost that much to fill up my truck.

The money is not the point, they are sneaky and crooks just beware.

Rented a car for work.  Picked me up at home and dropped me when I was done.  Great customer service.  Everything worked perfectly.
