This hotel is classy and old school all in one. It's beautiful and the rooms are nice and clean. My husband and I visited here for our anniversary and everyone was so nice and helpful, we even got free drinks at the bar to celebrate. The bartender was very friendly. Didn't get a chance to try the food but I saw plenty of people eating and raving about. We were told we would have a room with a view but we didn't get that one which is fine because it was very nice and quiet. We slept almost the whole time. They have a parking garage right across from the hotel which is very convenient. You drive over park your car then you can just take the elevator down front the garage and boom you're right at the door to walk across back into the hotel. It was never to busy to cross or park. We were there for presidents day weekend and it was very mellow and beautiful. it was only about a 10 minute walk to the arch from the hotel. Thanks again Hilton St. Louis downtown at the arch!

This place is the worst, gave us a discounted rate and then when we got there they told us they would not honor the price and try to make us pay full price. After we declined the full price someone behind us said they would pay the full price when they were full and gave the guy a full price room. We were told we would have to pay for the full night's price when we made the hotel reservation for the discounted price not even 24 hours before hand. We had initially been given a discounted rate for two rooms for two nights , we found out later after we turned down the full price rate that they were charging us for full rate for two rooms. After they had already given the room in front of us to a different group of people.  This left me with a pending transaction fee over the weekend of more then 200 dollars , which left me unable to charge anything on to my debit card for the rest of the weekend. When this was the first day of vacation. I am a Hilton points loyalty person and will never be staying at a Hilton again. Also I will be in contact with the better business bureau and have heard from other hotels in the St Louis area that they are known for telling patrons they will give a discounted price and then once the patron checks in they no longer will honor the discounted price offered so they can get the full price for the room. This is terrible customer service and will hinder people from coming back to St Louis for vacations again.

I stayed here for a personal trip to explore St. Louis. The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. I felt very well taken care of and would stay here again the next time I'm in St. Louis. Our room was clean, organized, and well stocked. I got the garden burger from room service and my partner ordered the adult grilled cheese. Both were absolutely delicious and service was fast. I would recommend staying here!

This is a beautiful hotel.  I think it was a bank at one time.  The room are a little small but that is to be expected in an older building.  The linens on my bed were so soft I was in heaven.  Really enjoyed my stay.

Update* 2.9.18 I stayed again and it was great.  The staff is super friendly.  Get the room with the giant tub.  Its nice.

Great location. Clean, comfortable rooms. Friendly staff. Food is fantastic, had breakfast and dinner. This is the second time I've stayed here. I'll stay here again in the future and have recommended it to others.
