Coffee cake, as good as it used to be 30 years ago, lost its moisture over the years. Now it's dry and crumbles all over the table because the plate they serve it on is too small. Bring back the moist, Hobees. Otherwise, it's a great breakfast joint, a bay area staple. Ok, maybe one more star **

Nothing blew me away about this place, but I still visit once every couple of months. Decent food, decent service. They serve some seasonal items which are really hit and miss.

We tried this place on Christmas Eve with the kids. It was absolutely delicious. The hot coffee cake with melting butter on top was perfect! Egg nog milkshake, wow. Kids loved the m&m pancakes. This is a new Christmas Eve tradition for us. We will be back for sure.

This is the second location we have been to. Very similar to the one in Palo Alto. Good omelette and coffee Cade, fast and friendly service. Not too busy as we sit down around 11:30.

Was going to give the place five stars for my initial visit but when I returned the next day and was served what appeared to be left over dried out burnt chicken on my salad, I was less than excited about the place. The hostess didn't seem to care when the waitress brought it to her attention; nonetheless, it was an annoyance to her for even bringing it up so I didn't bother asking for a refund for something I did not eat nor did they offer one. Best I can do is not go back and write this review.
