Absolutely brilliant. This old ranch was going to be sold to developers and dozens of houses and condos were going to be built on it until Clint Eastwood bought it and saved it. It has been completely restored (all of the buildings) and one of the old farmhouses has been converted to perhaps one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. There are also cabins (actually more like houses) on the property across the road from the restaurant where you can stay. The sunset was incredible and we're told the sunrises are as well. A definite must visit if at all possible!

Food and prices are good for what u get. Half of the lights in this place flicker about every 30 seconds. There must be a short circuit or something. It's distracting.

Truly a paradise on Earth. I went there with my friend for dinner and took a table outside, there is a heated patio so the chilly air won't bother you. The view is breathtaking with green Meadows, sheep grazing and lovely flowers all around. We ordered a bottle of wine, some appetizers and pasta for dinner. Food was delicious, they also have a post dinner cocktail menu. It was a dreamy experience, will definitely go there again on my next Carmel visit.

Nothing bad to say, excellent service and food, and a great view too. Will definitely be back.

Although the service was a bit iffy (the welcome from the hostess was almost rude), the food was very good a welcome break from the US cheese-fest. Also a very extensive drinks menu. As enthusiastic as the crowd were, the singer definitely wouldn’t get through to judges’ houses.
