CROOKS:  Do not trust their service department.  Take your vehicle elsewhere.

update 1-04-18:  We have unlimited oil changes so my wife goes back periodically.

She was informed her front brakes needed service and only had 3mm of pad left.   I took the car to Christian Brothers immediately.  They checked all the brakes, suspension, etc and found zero problems with the car.  All brakes had plenty of pad left.  (I just had the brakes serviced about 15k ago)

I took my vehicle in for a recall repair.  I was given a "courtesy" inspection and presented with a list of things that need to be repaired. 11 items were listed.  I am aware that 1 is a problem, 2 or 3 might be a problem, and 2 where complete lies (one of those being the most expensive.

Lie 1:  Air filter element shows dirty and needs replacement.  I just replaced the air filter the week before.  They obviously didn't even bother to look.

Lie 2:  $696.00 to replace and mount 4 new tires.  My front tires are worn, my rear tires have less than 3000 miles on them.

These outright attempts to gouge the customer destroyer all credibility of this place.

side note:  I have attempted to buy a car from them in the past twice.  They don't really seem to care about making a sale.  My last salesman was uninterested in actually helping us.  I told him I had a better offer by $1000 from another dealer.  He said, fine take it.  So I did.

Does not allow concealed carriers to carry in their store.

Will not recommend.. really ugly sales experience.. I went there Friday evening by myself to arrange for everything so I don't have to suffer with the wife and two kids on Saturday. But they treated me as if I was from a competing dealer..no info what so ever. So we came back the next day.. two hours to get the wife looking at the two cars she liked and of course the two kids are driving me crazy.. but later discover they don't have the color we wanted.. I tell the salesman to give me the final the first time as I am not going to haggle. He gives me a horrible price.. I gather my stuff and leave and he and some other dude follow me to the car trying to get me to come back in. If only you talked to me the night before !! If only you gave a good price the first round.  Of course went down the road to Big Star Honda and got the car from there..

I have been a Honda of Clear Lake sales and service customer since 1999. I have always great service and a caring service advisor who worked as my advocate. Ted Holt is an excellent service advisor who takes care of his customers. My recent service was again a good experience and I will continue to have my Odyssey serviced there.

Bought new car for Clear Lake. Great deal. 2017 Accord with 4500miles. Tyrone was a great help. He made sure that i was taken care of and my car was in great condition before i left the lot. Would recommend my friends that are looking for a new car to go see him.

The car-buying process took way too long. I realize the longer you have someone on site the better the odds of a sale, but we were buying. The paperwork and subsequent activities took a frustrating amount of time. The sales guy was great, the sales manager we spoke with was great, but the length of time we had to wait was not appreciated. I most likely will not purchase another vehicle at Clear Lake Honda.
