It's a renovated Hotel in a very small footprint. They've done a really good job. I like the lobby sushi bar. The rooms are nicely designed. But they are very small. Overall, the building feels like a boutique hotel.

Service was very good. Check-in, checkout was easy and quick. We were able to park only a block away. The only complaint was there were loud children in the hallway in the morning and they were constantly going in and out of rooms. Overall good stay and great location, I would recommend.

Great stay. I requested a fridge kind of last minute, they had it for me. The room is very very clean, and I absolutely love the rain shower and the scent of the soap products they provide. Friendly concierge. Comfy bed. Very quiet. Room is very small but perfectly fine that way as far as I'm concerned. Located close to whole foods, a great little raw vegan restaurant and a liquor store. Everything I would need in walking distance and public transportation was incredibly easy and reliable for someone like me who hadn't used it in a large city before. All in all, if/when I come back to Chicago I will definitely stay at Hotel Felix again :)

Hotel was competitively priced and a good value between $69- $100 rate on a Friday or Saturday night. Compared to nearby hotels the rooms are small and plain with "thin walls." Rooms feel outdated and old. Hotel has average service with pricey room amenities like a $6 bottle water.  Main lobby is nice but rooms need serious renovation. Front desk is friendly but unhelpful. However, hotel can be great value in terms of a cheap price and location.

Comfortable room. Not particularly large but adequate. View was of a brick wall but that was not an issue as I was just using the room to sleep. Location is good - walking distance to everything in River North, though not as in the the thick of things as the hotels closer to the river - I would opt for one of those of the prices were the same.
