Awesome hotel near downtown Burlington. The lobby is magnificent, and they have an outdoor area with a fire going during the colder months. The service was knowledgeable and great. Room was very spacious and elegant, with a view of Lake Champlain. TV was excellent, with tons of channels and options. Our new room came with chocolates waiting for us, and the bathroom was clean.

Got oyster happy hour at the restaurant. Very cool space, great date spot, wasn't too difficult to get a spot at the bar for happy hour and then some food once the kitchen opened. Nice wine list, affordable with off the beaten path wines.

Amazing hotel!  With a VT resident discount,  room was cheaper than the ones near it.  Rooms were roomy, very very clean, and beautiful.  Modern, and full of clever designs.  Local made soap, shampoo etc.  VT made glassware.  VT made flannel robes.  Had a 6th floor king.  Off every elevator there was a espresso/snack bar; Free.  A very fancy,  Italian automatic espresso machine, that ground fresh local coffee.  Fresh fruit.  Gourmet organic tea.  Sparkling/ regular water machine.  And sometimes cheese plates.  Pastries & jam in the morning.  Awesome.  Gym, massage (lady was kind, and very good) and yoga classes.  Lobby was awesome looking.  Parking was city garage, and came directly into the lobby; easy.  Young lady with black hair at desk,  very eager help and do her best.  I put in a note on the reservation that I was celebrating a special occasion, and they sent up a meat/cheese plate and VT sparkling wine.  And most special, a handwritten card.  They deserve another star!

The hotel bar (Juniper) is the ideal spot for some excellent beer, wine, or fun cocktails. I have been to many hotel bars as a guest of the hotel, but Juniper is the only one I return to every time I'm in Burlington, even when I'm not staying at the hotel. In fact, calling it a "hotel bar" is a bit insulting. If you want to try something truly interesting, ask the staff. They are all knowledgeable and more than willing to help you into a fantastic beverage, whatever you're in the mood for. It's also a good place for conversation, without the need to scream to be heard.

I went to hotel Vermont for lunch and the ambience was fantastic. The food was great and I only wished we had stayed there. Would recommend, 5/5
