The lady that works the front desk is very rude - we had words while I was checking in and I asked for a refund which she refused. I stayed at the hotel for one night - the rooms were clean and there were no issues until I left. Apparently my debit card that I used to pay with was hacked - I had been in Oregon all week and had no issues until the point that I stayed at this hotel . I stayed at the Eagle Cap Chalets is was a much nicer hotel with a friendly wait staff. - Buyer beware

Nothing like being woke up at 12:30am to the sound of drunk men falling against your motel room window. Then proceded to urinate on my car and scream and yell. They're was no way to phone the motel office so my husband phoned the sheriff. They contacted the manager. They apologized, moved us to another room. So we packed our room up and moved. HUGE INCONVENIENCE at 2 o' clock in the morning!!!!!!!! The police told them to quiet down and they were allowed to stay!!!! The only way they would do something is if we pressed charges....requiring us to have to come back, which takes time and money, and testify against them. Whatever happened to just disturbing of the peace?????? Public intoxication?????? Or removal from the motel? Our get away has been ruined and I'm utterly devastated as we had been planning this for months. Absolutely no gestures were made by the staff to reimburse our stay or anything to try and make it right. Shocked!

Clean, low key establishment. Friendly staff. Big, comfortable bed and high volume shower. Stayed here while working for Sun Pest and was happy with the accommodation. I preform a thorough pest inspection before I set my stuff down at all hotels I stay and turned up nothing here.

Just spent two wonderful nights in Joseph, Oregon at the Indian Lodge Motel. I have stayed all over the world in motels and I can tell you there is no finer place to stay than right here. The Bed was wonderful and the room was spotless. Did I say spotless, can't think of a better adjective. The office people were great and very helpful. The final kindness was shown to me when I left my electric tooth brush behind and they mailed it to me. Now that is service. When I return to Wallowa county I know where I will stay. We stayed at Indian Lodge over a long Easter weekend while visiting our son, his girlfriend and her family. It was very clean, the beds were comfortable and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms do not have bathtubs, so if you need to bathe a child, that will be an issue. I would definitely stay there again on a future visit.
