Love love. The experience, the art and the vibes were phenomenal. I would have loved to spend my whole day there. I didn’t know what to expect when I reached the museum and that worked in my favor I would say. I loved the French , Greek and Egyptian displays personally. The staff at the Getty museum were very friendly and helpful. They were so forthcoming in sharing information and helping, they were all so Cheerful and doing everything they could to make one comfortable. The layout the cactus garden it’s all a Don’t miss! I would suggest keep ample time in reserve before you head there because if you are an art enthusiast you would want to settle there.

Amazing art complex in a beautiful setting. There is a train that takes visitors up the hill to the museum. There was an issue with it when I went and we had to take a shuttle cart back down. Glad they had one. The setting in the hills and landscaped grounds are spectacular and the buildings are gorgeous. I found myself more interested in the buildings than the art. Had lunch in the cafe and that was nice. Definitely worth a visit for a few hours. Check their schedule and parking before you go.

A great place to visit on a budget. First, the parking is $15 but there is no admission fee. We took the tram up to the museum, which was actually pretty quick. We had lunch, which was delicious but a little pricey ($15 for a tasty, pre-made salad). The view is spectacular and you can't beat the art exhibits for the (free admission) price.

You MUST go this place when you came to LA. It has a great & beautiful view. And also there are so many fascinating sculptures and paintings. I really enjoyed a garden with many kind of cute succulent plants. Amazing geometrical architecture & garden. You can see a special texture&colr of travertine. Parking fee 15$ (after 3pm 10$). Free entrance.

The best $15 (per car) you can spend in SoCal! An absolute must see. Allow yourself lots of time as there is so much to see. There are art exhibits that will interest everyone. They have a beautiful food court in addition to small cafes that serve fresh food from all over the world. They have vegetarian and vegan options and the food is very reasonably priced. I cannot wait to go back to the Getty!
