Enjoyed our stay, showed up a month before the north rim open . but enjoyed the Hotel, Dinner and the service was fabulous. Ruby works a lot of hours. And was always very friendly. They definitely charge a lot but I guess when you're out there all by yourself in such wonderful area. You have the option to do that.

We went and had dinner. We love the cranberry chicken sandwiches and there cookies. They were friendly and we would recommend it to everyone.

I'm rating this property based on my experience stopping by during bad weather in February. It's a lovely cabin-the place with a warm, roaring fire in the lobby area. Also within first walking in, you'll find a huge gift shop/store and diner area. I definitely want to return to the Inn during different weather and appreciate it's proximity to the Grand Canyon (closed in this section in the winter).

If you got stuck in a blizzard storm this would be a good place to stay. But if you are not, look north for a night to stay. This is a secluded inn that gets you to buy their overpriced goods since it is the only thing you can get around that area.

The room was clean. The bed was a bit hard but it was better than sleeping outside. We stayed in the newer building and the price was quite fair. No refrigerator though. The girl checking us in went on and on about state and federal laws that keep them from putting refrigerators or microwaves in rooms because they are “fire hazards”... it was pretty comical. It felt like I was talking to a cartoon character... all in all great for how remote it is.
