Neat way to learn about the swamps and the history if the area. Definitely recommend catching the free 10am tour so you can learn something on your walk. It's an easy board walk where you can view cypress trees and marsh grasses. We saw a snake, but no alligators because it was too cold. Not a thrilling hike by any means, but a nice relaxing jaunt.

A magical place. Close to the wildlife with few barriers. Easy access on elevated boardwalks. Lots of neat things to buy to remember the visit. Ranger lead walk at 10:00 very interesting. Good Junior Ranger Program for children.

This one of the most beautiful places I have visited yet, it's apart of what makes it even easier to make a decision to come back to New Orleans and the surrounding area for years and years to come...forgot all the airboat tours, this is the place to be so you can walk right through the thick of it. With all the different wildlife you would want for Southern Louisiana and the Bayou.

Guided walking tours (must Pre-register) 7. Easy navigation 8. Wheelchair Accessible 9. Wildlife 10. Relaxing "rest benches" along the trails

Had a blast on the Airboat Swamp Tours throughout the area. SO MUCH FUN. Definitely take an airboat tour!!! Our tour guide was the best!
