Wonderful park! Nice sized paved sites. I loved all the facilities however most of them were closed for the season. As snow bird full timers February is prime time for us so it would have been much better to have the lazy river or the pool heated enough to use it. Same with the club house, camp store and snack bar they too were closed. This is the only reason I gave this park a 4 star rating.

We inquired about camping here for a month and were sold on all of the activities available here. We were promised such a diverse list of things to do for my three sons. After a few days, we noticed a pattern of employees telling my sons that activities were not available. Now after two weeks, it's clear that this beautiful resort with all the promises are only for the weekend when they staff appropriately and can actually deliver on the promises. That's very important information to tell campers on the front end. When we have asked employees about available activities, they never know the answer and have to engage management. Then the answer consistently comes back to us as a NO.

Beautiful, well maintained campground. It is not just a campground, it is a destination. Lazy river, multiple swimming pools and pet parks completes this campground. Staff will go way out of their way to make your stay enjoyable.

I imagine if we had visited this park in the summer it would have been a totally different experience, but our off season 2 month stay left much to be desired. As soon as we pulled into our site it was littered with debris. No large trash, but little things like used bandaids and flosser sticks, stuff you might expect at the bottom of a barrel campground, but not a premium top dollar resort. My biggest complaint, however, was the lack of available amenities. We chose this campground and were willing to pay the price to make sure our kids had plenty to entertain themselves. Come to find out they keep the game room and clubhouse locked all week long, and the club house is actually a bar anyways. While the weather was brutal the kids would have no where to go to be with other kids they had met there. They resorted to the laundry room just to play board games on more than one occasion. If the park is not going to offer the same amenities in the winter then there should be a discounted winter rate. We also could tell the showers were not being cleaned very often, which I imagine is another thing they keep up with in the busier summer season just fine. The grounds were pretty, the sites were spacious, and overall we wanted to love this place - it just felt like we got half effort for the full price.

We stayed here in July 2017 as part of our yearly summer vacation while visiting New Orleans. The resort is very pretty and the staff is courteous. Our trip was interrupted by a fuel leak in our tow vehicle and the General Manager was very accommodating and helpful, as we were unable to vacate our spot and continue our trip .The pools were beautiful and the lazy river was nice and warm. Definitely will be back when traveling through the area. The resort is relatively new and landscaping will eventually fill in , just bring a tent shade. We were grateful that they had a plan in place for travel related emergencies and we didn’t have to worry about trying to find a place for our family while our truck was being fixed.
