Jo-Ann Fabrics has a dazzling array of fabrics but they also have a selection of other crafts that rivals that of Michael's. I found everything that i looked for and the staff directed me to the items that i needed by aisle name. Their coupons are great and you will find that downloading the app comes with even bigger coupons. In the absence of another serious competitor, they still manage to be a decent retail store.

Fabric stores that have craft supplies are always better than craft stores that also sell fabric. I have been to Joanns in every city that I have lived and it's always the same: the people are so helpful, always making sure you have good coupons for what you're buying, going out of their way to help you find the best deals, even offering tips and tricks when you ask. I like Michael's and Hobby Lobby fine, but I always prefer Joanns, and this location is no exception. For instance, I once had to buy some very expensive cushion foam for a project, and between the woman who cut it for me and the man checking me out at the register, they made sure I saved over $60. I love this place!

We came into the store looking for a specific item the store did not have. While walking around we noticed what looked like a cell phone was laying on the shelf. I asked the blond associate in a green apron who was near by if this was hers. She so very rudely said , "uh yeah, it's ours." As though it was such an inconvenience to turn her head slightly and answer a question. I was merely being polite in asking.  Last trip to Joanne Fabrics. They are rude!

The staff is always helpful. They are generally well stocked. The only problem I've had is checking out. Usually there are a surplus of cashiers, except on busy days - which I do not understand. I've been there on a slow weekday evening & I've seen a multitude of cashiers (3 or 4), but then on.a weekend they've only had 2 & really long line to wait in. But, no matter how many cashiers every single one of them is always pleasant & eager to help.
