Agreed on a price for car that we Seen on the dealership website, over e-mail, text and voice over phone! Gave credit card for $200 deposit to show that we were going to drive 90 miles to pick car up in two days! The day Before driving To pick up car , we called and spoke with Internet salesman, All was confirmed of complete price with tax to drive away . We were asked about extended warranty over phone, -we kindly declined (NO)! Internet salesman was off the day we went to pick up car., he gave all the info to another associate ( salesman)to assist with the closing of the sale! The person that drove me 90 miles to dealership could not wait for all paperwork to get down due to having another appointment, I thought that I would drive the new used ( 2014) car home, which is 90 miles! All went good until the final papers to be signed, The Lady ( finance manager) who was assisting me with the final paperwork said to me " I cannot sell you this car because the final price was a mistake" !! Yes, you read that correctly!! But, she did say" if you buy the extended warranty for $3000, we can sell you the car" She knew that I did not have a ride back home (90 miles)! To sum it up, I purchased car with extended warranty and canceled the extended warranty at a later date within the time frame to be able to cancel it! It did take about three months to get a refund of $2950 , there was a $50 service charge to cancel warranty! It did work out with many phone calls, faxing and emails to get extended warranty canceled with NO HELP whatsoever from Sumter Nissan personal! They did an Awesome bait and switch, I was impressed with their technique if a person or business wants to be DISHONEST! I intentionally did not put any names to this review, I just want to give my review of my experience with doing business with this dealership! I also have never wrote a bad review on any establishment that I have done business with due to that we all are humans and do have good and bad days! This experience just completely baffled me of how I was disrespected while I was doing business with this dealership! Good Luck

I would have put less stars, had we not been told that one of the employees was only there to help sell the old stock. This person was extremely pushy, when my wife was there with the kids, wouldn't listen to her when she kept saying that she didn't feel comfortable making these kinds of decisions without her husband, me, there. He even told her sign MY NAME for me on some paperwork. He kept her there for 4 hours, my two kids, a two year old and a two month old (at the time), hadn't napped, were hungry, and they were screaming. My wife didn't even get to change their diapers! He told her to take the van home and let me check it out before making any kind of decision. He didn't even introduce himself until he was moving the car seats into the van. VERY unprofessional. When I went back with her, the next day, he immediately introduced himself to me, and when we were talking, my wife brought up that NONE of what he was saying to me was the same as what he told her, the day before. He denied that, and every time I tried to say we don't have the money for a new van, he kept pushing and pushing, with no real change in paperwork/numbers for us to see. We wound up storming out, and due to the noise, the sales manager came by as we were leaving, and my wife and I told him that this idiot needs to be retrained. We got outside, and were loading the kids into our car. The sales manager had followed us out to talk to us and figure out what exactly happened in there, since he didn't hear the whole thing. My wife explained most of it, I filled in more information. The remorse in his eyes was legit. He asked us if we liked the van, we said yes, then he asked us if we'd get it if he could give us very agreeable numbers. Told him we'd have to see the numbers. He asked for two minutes, went inside, and worked through some numbers. He came out, asked me to come in so we could go over the numbers (he could tell my wife was still REALLY upset with the whole thing). As we were going over the numbers, he had to switch out with another guy, who could explain the stuff that came with the purchase much better than he could. I had met the kid before on Shaw, so I really felt I could trust him. As the kid and I were talking, the sales manager came back in and switched out the paper with the numbers, and let us know he was able to find a way to get it even lower. My eyes widened at the numbers, and the kid asked if we wanted to go talk to my wife about the new numbers. We went outside, showed her the numbers, and she started to cry. We wound up buying a van that day. The girl that worked the finance was really helpful, and suggested we stay towards the low end of the extra warranty stuff, as we had stated we didn't have the money to get a lot of extra stuff. It didn't raise the payments by much, making it perfect for us. Aside from that guy from a different Nissan dealership, everyone else was AWESOME. My wife went back to have the tires checked/filled with hydrogen and they were very helpful and quick about it. This dealership has won us over as customers, and contrary to the negative comments people have left, I feel this is a place worth buying from.

I recently brought a 2015 Nissan Altima, the service was outstanding. I brought the vehicle and noticed that it didn't have an oil change sticker, after bringing it in and talking to the manager Stephen about it; he made sure it went through the used car inspection and fixed any issues that the car may have had which was little to none because it only had 34000 miles. The finance lady Natalie is awesome and my salesman David Gardner wasn't so bad. So, give them a try, it was well worth the drive and don't think they are bad because it took me 3 visits before I was blessed with my car.. May God continue to bless everyone with their heart's desires!!

Honestly one of the best service experiences I have had in a long time. The service department is friendly and honest which is a rarity.

I encountered a very frustrating and stressful experience with this dealership. They were very unprofessional. And I was treated unfairly by three of their sales men.One that deliberately lied to me.Having me come to pick up what he said was my vehicle.I initially went through this car buying process on Feb.13,18,signed paperwork, made a down payment, and left with my new car.So on the Feb.20,18 I received a call from a very rude sales men stated that we're not verifying your income bring our car back.Basically yelling at me very rudely and as I continue to respond he slammed the phone down in my ear.So when I go to return this vehicle I was asked by another sales person to try and work the issue out.He asked why was I returning the car.During this time my son and I were sick and I wasn't up to going through any discussion about this. And explained that the person that called me was the reason why I was returning the car.Okay after trying to contact the person that initially worked with us on the purchase of this vehicle he explains that they were waiting on me to pick by car back up.And they straightened everything out with the income verification. So I go back and pick this vehicle up off the lot.Several sales men and employees see me leave in this car that I thought was mine on Feb 22,18.I also added insurance on this car being that this was my deadline to do so $200.00 out my pocket.I purchased gas and bought items for the car.Yesterday on the 24th of February 2018 I get the same disturbing calling from Nissan of Sumter."Mrs.McDow you need to bring our car back"."Why do I need to bring my car back"?"I was told everything was straightened out"."No everything's not!straightened out"! "We want our car back"!So I basically tell them that they have put me through enough. And they need to have a way for me to get back home.So after talking to another source at this dealership.Very upset and emotional. They were thinking the car was stolen.Really? After hearing this I told her to have someone come get this car.And that the keys would be inside waiting with it.I was too furious, hurt, and sick to deal with this. This isn't the appropiate way of treating a customer.Putting them through this confusion and caios? This was a waist of my time and definitely my money. Now I have money tied up into a car that they mislead me into believing was mine.I don't have this car and I signed a contract.I don't have my money either.I have to wait on a refund.I also had my credit pulled. They really stressed me out completely!!
