Originally I didn't feel the need to write a review about Midlands Honda and their service department because I was able to talk things out with the service manager. However after thinking about all of the issues that we have had with Midlands Honda over the years and finding a part that had not been put back on the interior of the car today, I felt the need to write about them. A couple weeks ago, I dropped my fiance's civic off to get the airbag recalls taken care of, I informed them that I live out of town and would not need it for that week so there would be no rush on getting the recall completed on it because I have another car. I informed them that I would have a family member pickup the car when it was ready. Well a day goes by and I got the call that the car was ready, Great! I was impressed with this. I talked to my family member and let them know that the car was ready and that they could pick it up when they have a chance. My relatives got to Midlands Honda got to Midlands to pickup the car and they informed them that the car had been picked up. Here started the 40 minute ordeal on trying to find the car. The car had in fact not been picked up and was there. I called my relatives back and told them that it was not and that Midlands needed to find it. In the meantime the service department could not find any paperwork to see if the car had even been in the shop. Well a little bit goes by and we were informed that they had found the car but could not find the key. So, another period of time goes by before they find the key. At this point, my relatives had exhausted 40 minutes of their time trying to pick the car up and were late for their plans that afternoon. I called and spoke to the service manager about what happened and told him that I needed his assurance that the airbags had been replaced and that everything was fine with the car, he assured me. that it had been completed and that Honda takes it very seriously when replacing airbags and that stickers must be matched, and etc. I expressed my displeasure with prior experience I had when I was younger with Midlands and we would bring my dad's car in for service and the service would be done incorrectly causing more damage to the car and finding tools in the engine area once the car was home. Okay, sound good, I was fine with this answer and went on my way. Until today, when I was vacuuming the car that had recently been in for service. I pulled up the floor mat and found a plastic piece with a Honda sticker and bar code on it, I called the service department at Midlands and asked about the part and where it went so it was supposed to go. The part had to of been removed during service but obviously nobody ever noticed it was supposed to be put back or didn't keep up with it. My point here is that I am forever finished with Midlands Honda due to their track record when working on my family's Honda cars. The lack of good customer service we have received, lack of communication to us when working on the cars is just baffling at times. Other examples include have maintenance done on a car and then getting home and putting the car in park on a hill and the linkage between the shifter just falling out. We had to have the car towed back to Midlands Honda for them to fix what they broke in the first place. Having to wait on the car to be repaired and not hear anything after 4 days and going up to Midlands to hear that we were SOL because enterprise had already closed for the day. The list goes on and on and on. So beware if you are going to take your car in for service at Midlands because at this point I would rather go across town or other Honda Dealership than ever go back to Midlands.

Took my Honda CRV in for service this week preparing for a trip. Got a quick appointment time. Johannes offered good advice and the work was done quickly and properly. I really appreciate his professionalism and kindess. I feel safe taking my car to Midlands Honda. I know they'll do it right the first time!

I stopped using oil change shops decades ago. I scheduled an appointment and done. About 30 min wait for same price and much better waiting experience. Midlands is equipped with movie theater, game room with arcades, and quiet room (if you want to enjoy your reading or headphones). The usual coffee, popcorn, etc. are also available.

Came from North Carolina to buy new Honda Pilot from Midlands Honda. Dealer worked out good deal with me, explained new features of the vehicle and everything was within 2 hours! I didn’t have to spend a day until someone will finally pay attention to me, everything was quick and professional. Charles Green and Darold Wilson were excellent. Definitely looking to buy more cars from these guys!

Great place to deal with! I really like my service advisor Johannes Algra, and I get to watch movies and have snacks. They fix my car too. What’s not to like?
