This is a hidden gem! We have been over a dozen times in the last 6 months and each time has been wonderful! The staff is always very friendly and the food is so hot and delicious! Today Dailene went above and beyond and exceeded all expectations for this place! Thanks to her, I tried a new margarita and we tried a new dish. Both were phenomenal !!! If you haven't tried this place out, you really are missing out.
Please don't sleep on this restaurant. The staff is absolutely amazing. They are kind and considerate. The Mexican pizza and Nacho taste awesome. The Margaritas will keep you coming back so try them all. I love the new design. I love you guys and you deserve the very best that God has for you.
We were looking for something new and good in The Woodlands area, we picked this place because the reviews were good. We were pleasantly surprised at how much we liked it. At 1st glance, this place is a small store front in a shopping strip but has lots to offer. When you walk in you are greeted with a friendly staff. Then there is this large bright bar with stools all around and spanish design, nothing over done. The menu is packed with lots of attractive items. I ordered the fajitas for 1 and they were so good. I really like that they put alot of grilled onions. The homemade flour tortillas was good, most places don't make fresh tortillas anymore. My wife ordered the birria tacos. The tacos were very good, packed with lots of meat and cheese. They were so tasty along side their fresh made Mexican rice. I asked for a hotter salsa then the 1 that came with the chips. They brought me a tasty habanero salsa. The salsa was not very hot but packed a lil kick. My wife really liked the horchata drink. I will definitely be returning when I'm back in the area.
Super delicious food oh my goodness. The waitress we had was super cute and sweet, and the FOOD. Homemade tortillas were so good. I got the Birria tacos which are pictured, as you can see, I started eating obviously. Honestly a good, solid choice for food if you’re visiting the Woodlands area.
You need to try the food of this place! Is Amazing! I came here every time I want Mexican food! I had try most of the menu and every plate is great! The attention is 5 everyone in the restaurant is so nice!
We were in town for a wedding from New Jersey and this was the best food we ate in texas the whole 8 days we were there and it's been 2 weeks and we're still talking about it and wondering how to get it in jersey! If you're in the area stop here you will not be disappointed! I only have one picture because no one could wait to eat after the appetizer!
A hidden gem on Sawdust Rd.! This used to be a taco place that was tiny and we didn't much care for. A friend brought me here a couple of months ago and we have not went anywhere else for TexMex since! They have a "mexican pizza" far beyond what Taco Bell has on their menu. Crafted the same with 2 large crispy tortillas but covered with carnitas and cheese, add on their special creamy jalepeno sauce.... it is magnificent. Their barria tacos are also amazing. All the staff are very accomodating and the owner comes out to check on everyone in the dining room regularly. We enjoy sitting outside, there is a very large sidewalk area and it's not as loud and crowded. If they built this up a little bit with some nicer tables and chairs, maybe a pergola it would be amazing. Great experience and great food. Parking: In a strip center with more than adequate parking
Very disappointed. Paid $16 for these Birria tacos with extra cheese. Meat portion was unfair…this place is just stingy and no one likes that. Gave me enough cilantro and onions for 1 taco Consome was watery too. Wish I lunch ordered from somewhere else
Julio's had expanded their footprint in the past year, taking over a closed business next door and adding more seating. They also expanded the bar in the original footprint. The food here is always great. I've never had anything here that wasn't good. The food here is flavorful and maintains the feel of being homemade, but that doesn't mean the service is slow. It was great when we were there, a Friday at 11 am, and the food including the chips and salsa was great! Don't overlook this place when you're looking for good Tex-Mex. You'll be glad you stopped by.
Absolutely the best Mexican in The Woodlands! Fantastic Staff, Food and Margaritas!! The Watermelon Marg is the best!
