Stayed at K Bar S for a wedding. The staff was wonderful and so helpful, particularly with finding food for our picky toddler. Rooms were clean and comfortable, though the bathroom wasn't wait but enough to fit the pack n' Play so we ended up sharing with our toddler (not ideal for a parent, but it worked out fine). The location was beautiful for the wedding!

This lodge was GREAT with spectacular views of Mt Rushmore (only about 2 miles away) Breakfast was AWESOME everyday. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful with site seeing options and directions. My trip was in the winter so most of Keystone was already closed for the season. I had 2 drive 20 miles 2 Rapid City 2 get lunch or dinner...the ride was smooth but the scenery was worth the drive down hill!

My family and I stayed the night at the lodge. It was beautiful;from the decks you can see the profile of George Washington on Mount Rushmore. We had a meal in the restaurant, good hamburgers beautiful scenery. We had breakfast: omelette, sliced ham,muffins and waffles. Short 1/2 mile to Keystone and 3.5 miles to Mt Rushmore. Great place to stay.

I spent 4 nights there towards the end of the 2017 season. You could tell by the empty parking lot that things were winding down, but the staff didn't slow down one bit. Everything was always clean and fresh with a nice complimentary breakfast to start out each morning.
