I was surprised that it was nice than I thought it would be. The covers are thinner than hotel ones but the beds were comfortable. Two pillows each bed. Breakfast had lots of cold choices, yogurt, fruit, toast or waffles that you heat up, two cereal choices. Our room had a pull out couch plus the two double beds. Nice TV. Bathroom with two sinks and tub looked good, comparable to hotels. Fridge. Super close to Mt Rushmore. Other places to eat and get fudge and play right next door.i would book with them again.

The lady that works the front counter is seriously an angel! I had stopped in over Labor Day weekend 2017 I was down and out and needed some help! This amazing woman helped my family and I! I had accidentally forgot to pack towels and was staying at a nearby koa camp ground! I will forever be thankful of you! My family thanks you! You are a saint please never stop being the awesome human you are! This world needs a million of you! Thank you so much again for your kindness ❤️ the hayes family!

For the location, the price was good. It was VERY basic room. No fridge, no conditioner, and the pool was drained (BIG bummer!). Positives: the desk clerk was friendly, it was walking distance from the town and very short drive to Mount Rushmore, it was clean albeit well used. If you are going for economical and very basic, this works fine.

The pool was out of commission. We could also hear our neighbors TV. But the bed was comfy. And the staff was friendly. The location is nice too!
