Are you looking for a reasonable $$$ place to stay in the Hills? This is it! Very nice couple I stayed in a motel room it had a bonus room with a door for privacy !  Very neat and clean not a bug in sight. The back was my favorite a Babbling Brook and saw the cutest thing  yet a mother duck with 5 area small baby ducklings swimming down the Creek. Very peaceful. Next time I'm in the Hills I will be staying here again!  You could book your whole extended family here!

I stayed here with my dad and brother and it's such a nice place that was clean and centrally located. Will definitely stay here agian in the next coming years. Wonderful people taking care of the place as well!

Great place to stay. No problems at all. Would 100% definitely stay here again. The hot tub was fun. Nice to be outside of town and in a very nice well built cabin.

 If there was a way to give this creep and his creepy business a negative score I would! We had a trip to South Dakota planned for a year and had reservations with them for four months.  Unexpectedly we had a dire medical emergency and was not able to make the trip.  I called six days in advance to cancel our reservations, I am totally appalled by the way I was treated.  I expected to have to pay something for backing out on the reservation and I was more than fine with that because it is not their fault we had to cancel.  On the other hand I could have in no way known about the medical emergency when I booked and I can tell you I did not plan this to happen (if only we could have that control).  When I told the creep on the phone he instantly got upset.  He was stern with me and demanded a $25 fee, I told him no reason to demand it I had plans to pay something and was ok with the $25.  Then he proceeded to tell me what a burden I caused because they are so busy they could have rented that cabin out a number of times...after I picked my jaw up off the ground I explained that we did not plan for this emergency and the minute I knew we couldn't make the trip I called them, he basically said he didn't care he was just upset that I wasn't renting his crappy cabin.  If our medical emergency gets better we plan to try the trip again and I can assure you we will NOT be staying with the Janssens Lodestone cabin and motel.  We will however be staying with the Palace Express and the Black Hills Mile Hi Motel ,as they understood our situation.
