genuinely want to help you out.  Always able to fit you in some how.  Great fast work, reasonable prices.  Finally found an honest auto shop.

I've used these guys for numerous commercial vehicle needs as well as a handful of personal needs. They're quick to get you in vs. some other shops, reasonably priced, ensure you know what is going on with repairs/etc., and are kind & professional.   Definitely worth checking out.

I started  coming to Ken's around 2012 , Ken and his staff are always kind, and professional, the work on my car is always done in a timely manner , I plan to continue going there for my auto needs .  Thanks Ken for your great service.

If I could give KVD's 2.5 stars, I would - three is a bit too much while two is not enough.

I have used this shop many times in the past due to their proximity to my house, and for the quick, easy, and small things (oil changes, new batteries) they are fine ... however, for larger repairs I feel like they exaggerate the estimate of labor hours in an effort to make more money.

I took my sedan there when the car was inexplicably not running - they did the one hour diagnostic and told me they couldn't figure out what the problem was and that they would need to take more time ("2-3 more hours" at $106/hr) to get to the bottom of it ... I declined and brought the car home and did some troubleshooting on the web - turns out, a fuse was blown. Cost to replace said fuse, $2.00.

Final straw - recently took my station wagon there and was told they needed to replace the fuel pump ("which will take about 3 hours") and the total estimate (labor and parts) was $1035. Nope. Through word of mouth, I was able to find a shop that came highly recommended and that quoted 1.5 hours and a total of $585 (labor and parts). 

The three favorable experiences at KVD's that I have had:
1. They once told me I needed a part replaced to correct a problem, once they got the new part in they realized that wasn't the fix the car needed and removed the part without a charge.
2. The battery on my sedan was completely dead and they did a full-charge to the battery for free. Of course, the charge wasn't successful and I needed a new battery (which I purchased from and had installed by them) but the gesture was still appreciated.
3. When I had the station wagon towed to the shop a few minutes after closing, one of the mechanics (younger, glasses) was so pleasant and very graciously brought my two small children cups of cold water (it was 93 degrees out) and let the tow truck driver use the bathroom. I didn't get the young man's name but he was very kind. 

Unfortunately, because of the aforementioned issues (among others - how wish the two items mentioned were the only negative experiences I'd had) I cannot recommend their shop if you need car repairs.

First time customer with a good experience.  I made the appointment online and received a timely reply.  The garage was clean and the staff was polite and knowledgable.  My car had over-heated and they found a cracked radiator which had to be replaced.  Repaired and off on the same day.  Happy customer.
