The owner is very friendly and is enthusiastic about educating customers, listens and answers questions honestly. While I didn't purchase anything today I left understanding Dolby Atmos much better than when I arrived. I will be returning, if only to browse the vinyl collection!

I had some trouble finding some solder in the area, so I got fed up and just typed in "solder" in yelp. KAV was the first result and I gave them a call. The owner was happy to help out, really nice guy.

I shopped for high end speakers between Olympia and Seattle, and poured over reviews on the web for months before talking to Derek at Kitsap Audio Video. He has a laid-back approach to high end audio and is transparent about what makes a difference and what doesn't. He is knowledgeable and easy to work with, and even ended up meeting me half way between my house and his shop (a couple hours' drive) with my speakers when I finally made a decision. Great place and worth the drive, even if you're not in the area.

If you're going to drive around with your company's logo on your pickup truck, don't weave around other cars while speeding and crossing double white lines while driving through Gorst. You're going to kill someone. Edit: Apparently this guy thinks he owns the road. I caught up with him again, near Tacoma. He was driving solo in the HOV lane, while holding his cell phone up to his ear. How many traffic laws can someone break in one drive?

Great locally-owned and run Hi-Fi shop. Stopped in just to check it out, and the staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and knowledgable. They're more than happy to demo any one of their setups. They don't try and hide their prices from you like I've seen other Hi-Fi stores do, and they have product lines spanning from entry-level to earth-shatteringly ridiculous. If you're at all curious, but don't feel like making the drive to see them, their website has an accurate description of what they carry. If you're in the market for two channel audio, home theater, or multi-room, I'd highly recommend Kitsap Audio Video. It's the kind of attention to detail, enthusiasm, and professionalism that you just can't find in chain stores.
