I am legitimately shaking as I write this review. I have come to this location numerous times and I have always had a terrible experience. So clearly part of this is my fault for continuing to go to an establishment despite the bad food and bad service. But it IS cheap and close to where I work and I love Mexican food so. Anyway, today I had zero service. Not even a refill. And then waited almost 30 minutes for my check. When I politely mentioned I needed to go and I had been waiting on the check, he waiter got very ugly with me and said HE had been waiting on ME. He also basically slapped the bill on the table and walked away. I was appalled. I have been a server, I have never in my life treated someone like this. It was one of the ugliest experiences I have ever had in a restaurant. Also the food is not good. The chorizo swims in grease. It looks so nice from the outside but I really wish I had never given them a single dime of my money and will never go back. I get that being a server is not a fun job but to be treated like that for no reason has ruined my day. Maybe that was the point. Mission accomplished.

The decor is authentic and high quality, the table service is excellent and the food is superb. You really have to know the food to judge it. To say it's too salty is wrong. It is what it is and what it is is exceptionally flavorful, plentiful, served on hot plates, in an exceptionally clean setting. It is genuine. I highly recommend it.

Their food has excellent flavor, and the chorizo was a little bit spicier than some places I've been. Which is a plus in my book. They forgot my wife's order of a sour cream side salad, but her Texas rice was more than enough to fill up on. They had good service. Considering we brought our dog and were the only people on the patio. The salsa was underwhelming. Over all a solid 4 out of five.

The upgrade is very nice, much larger building now with more seating. Staff are nice and courteous with lighting fast service. Standard franchise Mex food taste so it looses some authenticity I guess.

I'm usually in favor of this place but very disappointed with my experience today. Ordered to go and specifically requested a large salsa that I paid extra for only to get home to see it was completely absent from my order. When I called the girl seemed careless and unapologetic. I show up again to get it and she says little to nothing. When I get home again I realize I wasn't given my to go sweet tea either. Poor service for spending 30$
