Story

Catering, dine in and carryout soul food and seafood from a diverse, extensive menu! We have a full bar with daily happy hour $3 drink specials! The atmosphere is perfect for family dining are children love our kids menu and coming here. Lunch specials are also offered daily for $8 and include a drink when you dine in!

The Spicy Shrimp Gumbo and the Seafood Alfredo is one of my favorite dishes! Nigel's Good Food Restaurants is one of the best restaurants in South Carolina! The food is authentic, top notch, and healthy! Not to mention how perfectly the food is seasoned. I will recommend anyone to visit Nigel's Restaurant, while visiting the Low Country. I can assure, you will not be disappointed!!!!! Thank you so much!

There probably 8 dishes I really wanted to try so I cannot wait to go back. The food was fresh and jam packed with quality flavor. I ordered the Crab and Shrimp Ravioli and it was to die for with the sausage and seafood flavors meeting. The sauce and pasta great too.

My wife and I visited Charleston on our honeymoon. Tim, our waiter, was very knowledgeable about the menu and recommended the low country ravioli and the gumbo. Both were exemplary in taste and in presentation. Excellent recommendations and excellent service! The bread pudding was excellent as well. If we are ever in the Charleston area again we will most definitely make this place our first stop for food. Thank you for making our honeymoon great!

Soul food and low country at it's best. I had the best shrimp and grits. My husband enjoyed his gumbo. We sat near the kitchen and watched one delicious dish after another come out of the kitchen. We will be definitely eating here again.

Usually this place is amazing. I have been going here for years now. In the past two trips I have been disappointed. This time I (and the last time) I ordered the meat and three. I got the fried chicken, Mac n cheese, cornbread, and rice & gravy. The sweet tea was a pale amber color, and tasted like straight syrup. Not a hint of tea. The waitress was nice, but never showed back up except to help deliver food to our table, then at the end of our meal. When we received our food it looked amazing. Except the chicken. The chicken was so small. The "thigh" was the size of a small tennis ball. Super small. So was the leg. It was like they found a mini chicken and cooked it. Wing was normal size but skimpy on meat (for a wing). Only reason it got 3 stars was the sides. Cornbread is the best I have ever had. EVER. Great Mac and great rice. My food with drink cost $13 after taxes. Not great considering the mini chickens.
