This is our favorite lake! And we love the people that run it! Very friendly and helpful. It's a small but beautiful Lake and we always catch something! Even got a derby fish a few times! Been going there for years every Memorial Day weekend and will continue to go for years to come!

This was a great campground! We camped in one of the "primitive" spots and even though we were close to the road, there was almost no traffic so noise wasn't an issue at all. The campsites have ample space in between them, and the area is clean and quiet, despite the RV sites next door. The showers were a huge plus - super clean and a nice break from having to be days on the road without a shower. Overall such a great experience.

This is not where Lake Capote is at.  Google has the wrong location when you enter it into navigation.  It's really close to the intersection of Hwy 151 and Hwy 160.
