I stopped here two years ago looking for a part for my Huffy bike. Two staff members made fun of my low cost bike and said that no one carries parts for Huffy. They joked that they could set me up with a real bike. Went to a bike shop next to Whole Foods on Ray Rd and they fixed me right up. I'll never go to Landis, they really blew it!

I've been involved with adult biking in the East valley for >40 years. Landis is always honest, on time and backs their work. Not the cheapest, not always the quickest but RELIABLE. All my friends in the know agree. Can't beat that!

Replaced 2 inner tubes with thorn resistant tubes and both popped within 2 months. Thorn resistant tubes were 11 dollars and regulars were 8 dollars. I went to Bike Saviours on Broadway and spent 5 dollars on an inner tube. Spent 75 dollars getting a tune up to fix my broken spoke and adjust my brakes. 2 months later that same spoke is now broken. Safe to say I'm not getting it fixed by Landis Cyclery. Staff is very lethargic. What looked to be 2 newish employees didn't engage in any conversation besides the transaction. An older looking employee talked in a less than friendly tone and kept looking away as if to show me that his attention was divided. You would think a local bike shop would be friendly to all comers but alas that is not true here. Products are overpriced and cheap, employees are pretty sub-par which leads me to not recommend this place to young people looking to save money and be treated properly. Would recommend if you have a lot of dough to drop though I would still recommend you go somewhere else. Also they are predominantly a Specialized dealer so be sure to bring a Specialized bike in, if you didn't purchase the bike from them, so they don't look and talk to you funny.

I visit many bike shops in Tempe and all are good but Landis is a cut above. Why because of Aaron the manager and the staff. I ask questions, a lot of questions and never have they made me feel like I was inconveniencing them. They are honest, extremely helpful and just a great place to talk bikes. And best of all a great place to have your bike tuned up, fixed, repaired, etc. All I can say is, thank you Aaron and your staff for all your help. Tim Case

The people at Landis Cyclery don't push products; they are there to meet your needs, whether you're a professional or casual cyclist. They're practical and courteous and don't waste your money. I recommend them without hesitation.
