My experience is similar to others expressed here. Frequented the Loveland store because I like shopping local and had spent a couple thousand dollars with them over 2 years. Sales staff was friendly. Service department was adequate. Not particularly helpful but again adequate. The real reason I will take my business elsewhere is that the General Manager, Conrad, has no understanding of even a minimal level of customer service. Took my bike in for service on a Tuesday. Needed some parts and was told they would be ordered right away. Called the following Monday and was told by Conrad that they only order parts on Mondays. No apology, just condescension that I didn't understand their process. Took 2 1/2 weeks to get bike back. Went in a couple of months later to buy some Speedplay pedals. Salesperson couldn't answer a question so he went to get the GM. Conrad behaved as if he was doing me a favor by answering my question. Arrogant, rude. I have rather low customer service expectations but Conrad was not able to even meet those expectations. Final analysis- if you want to be appreciated for your business, shop elsewhere. There are all kinds of other options.

Conrad and the guys are awesome and they take my best interests at heart and have helped me out with my repairs on my MTB and in tools for all my jobs. Hands down a great bike shop and I will always go to them first. Keep up the great service guys!

Over priced, arrogant... great products, but I came in looking for some humble upgrades, and they kept trying to steer me onto ridiculous expensive things like a drop post that cost half as much as my bike.... Keep in mind that I came in for a new seat and gloves. I have gone in there several times always being hopeful, since I bought my first mtb from them in downtown FT Collins in 1991. It was a Bridgestone MB 1:) However, nothing since then. I occasionally get tubes there. The young guys there that day needed to learn how to work with women. The one staff member who was trying to listen and help was a young woman that they kept cutting off, so they could steer me towards ridiculous stuff that I was not interested in. I am sure I will go back, but I seem to keep buying my bikes and gear at REI, or Performance instead.

I just got set up with a new kit for my tri team and needed some adjustments and fitting for the new bike. They were able to fit kit me to the new more aggressive position on my new bike. I've been very confident with their service and help with tune-ups and other questions about equipment.

Lee's is an established shop with quality bikes. The staff is always ready to help, and not overly pushy. I got a very good price in the Fall on my Specialized mountain bike. I have had some issues with service, however. On more than one job, it just didn't seem like the mechanics knew what parts were needed or exactly what needed to be done. I found myself waiting weeks for them to get all the parts ordered or finding out how to deal with a warranty. I had them do a tune with new housing, and the job was a bit sloppy, with a missing part and one cable cut too short. These guys need to make sure an experienced mechanic takes a look and gets the specs for the job in order from the start. It's frustrating waiting weeks for your bike while they figure it out as they go.
