The Humpback Cabin was wonderful, peaceful and cozy. We had a beautiful view of the stars from the front porch. The falls and caverns are close by. The campground has a nice play area for the children.

My husband and I stayed there for the first time ever. The owners were friendly, approachable & helpful. The campground was clean. The bathrooms/shower rooms were warm & clean. The atmosphere was most welcoming. I recommend staying there. You'll love it too!

Very nice, well kept campground. We stayed at a tent site with power and water. Area was clean, but when this campground is full it is noisy (but then we had a tribe of college aged "adults" occupying the three or four sites adjacent to ours......so, peace and quiet is hit and miss as I'm sure is true at every campground in the hight of season!) The primitive tent sites looked a little better spaced out, so we will stay in those next time. Bath and laundry building is very nice, clean and well appointed, as was the little store. Proprietor was super friendly and very knowledgable! The only thing we really did not like was that the camp sites up the middle (#s26-29) are poorly planned, having all of the fire pits on the downward/south side of the site which meant that your neighbors fire pit is closest to your tent (as the fire pits and level tent sites cant be changed). Also, was the parking. Not all sites had room for your tent and a car (unless you wanted to park next to your neighbors fire), so people were parked EVERYWHERE. All in all, we had a good stay and would gladly come back.

Tent camped for two nights and really enjoyed our stay. Modern recently built bathhouse with large, clean individual bathrooms. Campground owner is friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The entire campground is tidy and well kept. Convient location to many of the local Blue Ridge Parkway attractions. Looking forward to camping there again. Will recommend to our friends.

My wife and I stayed there this weekend. We had a wonderful time. The campground was 20 degrees cooler than home in Upstate SC. The owners were super friendly and helpful. They delivered Ice and Firewood to our camp site which was perfectly level with full hook up, a fire pit, and nice picnic table. We took a peak around and the bathouses were exceptionally clean and private. Their tent camping area was well shaded and almost made me want to drag my tent back out. Great place to stay and will most certainly be back.
