Pros: Perfect location-3 miles south of Boone. Full hookups. Trash cans, picnic tables and fire pits at every site. Most sites are on the beautiful stream. Dog friendly. 👍😁 Cons: Small (very small) sites. Major state highway very close. Traffic at 6 am. 😳🙄🙁

Nice quiet place close to town, the parkway and everything else you wanna see in Boone. Got a site for the season opening. Water pressure was low but they fixed it right away (expected small problems since they opened that day and it was a hard winter). Sites are fairly small but most back up to a nice creek with firepits and tables. Even though some of the sites are smaller they are easy to get in and out of. Very nice folks running this place, they all care about your stay and quickly fixed my two issues (low water pressure and a forgotten corkscrew!).

Sad to say, we cannot recommend this campground due to a very rude staff member. My husband is disabled and was home alone when she banged on our door and told him to come clean up after our dog. It was snowing and our steps were ice. He had already texted me to pick it up when I got home, less than an hour later. She was very rude and not at all understanding that his 5 surgeries could spell disaster for having to walk outside in those conditions. I picked up the dog waste as soon as I got home and we tried to forget about it. On our last day, we came home to a note taped on our door telling us to pick up the dog waste or we would not be welcome back. This time the poop in our site did NOT belong to our dog (wrong size) and we had picked up everything from her immediately. Dogs had been running loose so obviously it likely came from one of them. Still, I picked it up and we left. The campground is ok, but we won’t be back. Lots of long term residents with messy sites but for some reason she picked on us to harass.

Very family friendly. Reliable power, but I didn't use water, so can't say anything of it. The their map they give is not to scale, so don't expect the campground to be as small as you see on the map, or as large, depending on where on the map it is. Free balls for the activity area of camp. The creek was very nice at night, added background sound so you don't hear anything from other campers. Very nice. Restrooms were clean, and plenty of hot water. That definitely something I look for on a campsite, and this one did not disappoint. 😄 Shower stalls have two separate sections, separated by a shower curtain, so your clothes and other items don't get wet. Very much appreciated.

The best campground in Boone. We have been going there 9 years and have been staying all summer (6months) the last 4yrs. A wonderful family owned campground, and the staff is the greatest.
