Gonna disagree with some of the reviews about food quality. I wasn’t impressed. The service was first class though and you just can’t beat the romantic ambiance. I would go back for the experience but not for the food. We had the sirloin and lobster tail. Lobster tail was perfect. But the steak was very bland. They don’t use any seasoning at all on it. Some people probably prefer that. But I like something to help bring out the flavor of a steak. As it was, it was pretty flavorless. Although cooked perfectly medium rare.

Five stars for the location and atmosphere, 1 to 2 stars for the food. Visited with a party of eight, and being friends we ate family style sharing our appetizers and entrées. I was surprised how bland and uninteresting virtually every item was, especially considering how expensive the prices are. I wouldn’t hesitate to come back for a romantic evening, sit by the fireplace have a glass of wine and listen to the piano player. But there’s nothing about the food that would make me go back.

Excellent food and service. The entree portions were quite large, so come hungry. We had dinner reservations for the day after Valentine's day and they still gave me a rose and served the special holiday menu. I advise arriving before sunset so you can witness the beautiful scenery in the National Forest.

We really enjoyed our date at this place. I got lobster tail and steak and my wife got chicken. Also got the Alpine nachos for a starter and they were bomb. Also a coconut soufflé for desert that was perfect to spit and end the night. The setting was romantic and piano player was great. The valet was quick for a cold night we just waited seconds by a heat lamp. I want to make this a yearly tradition even through I live 30 min away and you will most likely pay $100 for a couple.

We went for a romantic dinner date and it was better than we expected! Try the bison - it is amazing beyond words. For dessert you cant miss the Smores tart. Service was splendid. Nice atmosphere. Free valet parking (just tip). They had live music in the lounge area to enjoy while we waited for a table (we were a little early for our reservations). A little pricier than some may be used to, but worth it for a special occasion!
