Had a pair of speakers of mine for nearly 2 months in for a tweeter repair.  When I finally arrived to pick them up my previously mint speakers had many scuffs, dings, even a small crack in the mahogany veneer.  This was very very disappointing since the damage was more significant than the original issue.  Further, when I got home to test the speakers the tweeter was still dysfunctional. I called the owner to discuss the issue of course.  I was told I should have tested them in the store.  Which was offered, although I don't know where it would have been done with the giant pile of electronics and speakers carelessly packing the small office, all on the floor, not shelves, laying on top of one and other,nothing between to prevent damage!.  Anyways I declined assuming after two months my speakers would actually work.  He assured me he had never had any problems and never a item brought back.  I decided i would pay and go on my way before i lost my cool.  After mentioning the damage, his first response was isn't it the sound that matters.  Shortly after he told me I looked like I could afford it. Anyways, at this point after being told I should have tested them so it was my fault I lost my temper a bit, only to be quickly overshadowed by his temper and then called names.  First I was a child then I was told repeatedly I was a liar and a cheat.  Yelling the two words over and over in the phone like a mad man.  Very pleasant,and professional.  And honestly I have better things to do than take my speakers to some guy to wait two months and then give him a bunch of trouble to save a dollar.  I would highly recommend you keep anything you care about away from this place. It is very very sad he is associated with Tinker Mill which is an amazing place.
