Yes, some of the records are priced higher than what you may find on Discogs. There is no way a bricks-and-mortar store can compete with an online retailer. This store gives you a chance to browse and hold the record in your hand before you decide to buy. Some bargains can be found. I have found many. The extra percentage you might pay is well worth the price to have a local record shop that stock quality discs.

Yes, the store owner is a little quirky. She gets stressed and can be a little short under pressure. Just give her a chance and some grace. You might find her to be quite pleasant after you get to know her.

As for the quality. If you find a record in poor condition at this store it's only because it slipped through the cracks. They try to stock VG+ or better records only. (look up the rating system, "Good" does not mean good)

Great store. I loved them before the move, but the new store is much more open. Most albums are around the same price as the internet (without shipping) and she guarantees all she sells, which is great for me because I've had a lot of bad luck buying vinyls online lately.
 Went in yesterday looking to upgrade my record player, and was very happy with what I found. Denon DP-15F turn table and a Onkyo receiver for $200!!! She saved me hundreds!

I'm a lifelong record collector and have been in record stores all over the U.S., but I've never seen such overpriced records!  Seriously, most of their display records are easily 2-3x Discogs or even Ebay prices.  I know that they recently changed locations so I don't know if this is temporary, but their entire stock is in plastic tubs.  PLASTIC TUBS!  Expect the records in the back 1/4 of each tub to be warped.  I can easily spend 2+ hours in a well-stocked store (and can spend hundreds of $$$ at one go), but I walked out of this place empty-handed after about 10 minutes of looking.  Definitely won't be back unless the owner has a moment of clarity/sanity and rethinks the prices.

I am a Longmont High School student who is doing a final project. We are painting on vinyl records. We are depending on this to pass our 9th grade year. So we called this place to see if they could donate some records.When we asked politely if they would be willing to donate some records the lady on the phone laughed and said no. Their costumer service is very rude and unwelcoming. We will not be calling or visiting this store again. We give a shout out to  Goodwill and MCHS thrift store for donating to our project.
