This modern hotel is in the heart of Times Square just down the way from Bryant Park. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room offered great perks like a king size bed, a nice view of 41st street and towering buildings. The king bed was comfy and the pull out couch served our sleeping needs. Plenty of charging options. Allina, the Robotic Butler, entertained the children with toys (warning, there was a fee). The room was stocked with treats and drinks, but to my dismay (fees will be assessed if you partake in a sip or bite). The bathroom was accommodating and walk in shower met my expectations. When we come back to NYC, we'll consider staying here again.

We read reviews of many hotels in Manhattan and decided to stay at the Luma. We weren't disappointed.
The hotel is new and very well maintained. Our room was spacious and had a sofa as well as the (huge, comfortable) bed. It was also nice to see a hotel that has bright lights in its rooms and enough plug sockets for today's traveller.
The people working here couldn't do enough for us. They were all very friendly and chatty and helped us out with any questions we had. Aries in particular was a gem. And getting items delivered to your door by Alina was the icing on the cake.
Location was perfect. We could walk to Times Square in no time or jump on the subway within a couple of minutes.

Staying at LUMA has been one of the best hotel stays I have ever had. The staff is very friendly and greeted us every time we walked through the door. It was our home away from home for 2 nights. I would highly recommend LUMA and cannot wait to come back!

Spring break trip with my wife and daughter and it was their first time to NYC. This was the perfect place to stay as the location could not be better.  Close and convenient to everything.  I spend usually two nights a week in hotels and rarely get a good sleep.  This place was very comfortable and one of the quietest hotels I’ve ever been to.

Great room size and sleek, trendy hotel design. The staff was extremely friendly. And surprisingly, I heard no street noise from the Times Square traffic, which was great (though I was on a higher floor and not on the street side of the hotel).
