Rooms are small, didn't get a late check-out, only good for couples, no shuttle to airport, nothing special that stands out whatsoever. Also, I think it's weird that the check-in counter is basically a computer on a coffee table in a tiny lobby. Since they are "attached" to a real 4-star hotel, they can claim they are a real 4-star but it's closer to 2-star. Also, you can't use any of the real 4-stars amenities. So basically, you're buying a 2-star experience for a 4-star price. Only good thing is location.

This hotel is located in Times Square and very near the Theatre District. We were able to walk to Central Park and the theatre to see Kinky Boots ( which I HIGHLY recommend ) as well as some nice places to eat. Sadly that was the best thing about this hotel. Our room was surface cleaned only, shower could have been not only cleaner but bigger, it was nearly impossible to wash your feet because there wasn't enough room to bend over to wash them, the shower in my old camper was bigger. There was rarely anyone sitting at the desk in the very tiny lobby we almost always had to look for one. On our way out to explore we forgot to take a bottle of water from our room with us so we asked when we found the clerk in the lobby to which they said sorry we don't have bottled water here, funny thing since they gave us 2 bottles of water on our way up the elevator. Was NEVER told where the breakfast was at, didn't really feel as though we got our money's worth, also the bed left a LOT to be desired.

I stayed overnight for a show and wanted to make it a treat yo' self trip. The room was bright, airy, and comfortable. The bathroom was like the room and very clean. The staff at the front was very nice and I was able to check in early. The elevator was a little terrifying; it moved very fast and you could feel it. It was a little hard to find walking down the street, but worth it. It was only two blocks from the theatre my show was in and near enough to Time Square you didn't have to fear getting mugged, but far enought that you weren't up all night with the lights and sounds. Over all it was elegant without the pretentiousness and I hope I can stay there again.

5 stars for the location as the hotel is walking distance from Times Square, many Broadway theaters, Grand Central Terminal, etc. My only complaints would be regarding the concierge and housekeeping. First thing, I requested a shower chair and was told they didn't have one and couldn't assist with other options. I was (negatively) impressed since this is a 4 ½ star hotel. Also, many times I ordered a bucket full of ice to be sent up (no fridge in the room) and on all occasions it took more than 30 minutes to arrive (imagine if I ordered a full course meal!) One of the times I was told to bring the bucket of ice myself to the restaurant downstairs so they could fill it with the ice I wanted. Lastly, I asked for a wake-up call at 5 AM and the call didn't come until 5:30 AM.

Nice long and great location. But rooms are super dated. And hot water was spotty. Bed was comfortable though.
