While frantically trying to find an organic fungicide for my lawn, most stores only offered it online, with a week ship date. Then I found Ace in Lutz. The product was in stock! I ordered it last night and picked it up this morning. Great store with friendly, helpful employees. I love that place!

First let me say that I have been using this Ace Store for years and have had positive experiences up until today when I was assisted by Ray.  I went to the store to purchase the Miracle grow potting soil that was on sale for $9.99 , when I was checking out the item  rang up at $16.99 so I told Ray that it should be on sale for $9.99.  He looked at me and rolled his eyes! He then just walked away without saying anything, I assumed he was heading over to were the product was so I proceeded to follow him.  The Miracle Grow that was on sale was stocked with another Miracle  Grow Product of the same size.  I told him that it was the one that is on sale  that I was interested in.  I  simply saw  the ad for the product and took the top, not realized that there were two different potting soils that were stocked together.  He literally turned around and walked away  without acknowledging me. He didn't even bother to offer to swap!  I just walked out.   Im not spending my money in a place that employs irritable people that treat me like I am interrupting their day.  Because this was the first time in years that I have had a bad experience I called and asked for a manager.  I was transferred to Chris which I do not believe is really a manager.  I explained my situation and he had nothing more to offer than "I'm sorry that you had a bad experience" with his flat voice.  No resolution, did not ask me to assist me further with the product, was not interested in retaining a regular customer.  I've enjoyed shopping there because of their customer service in the past, however,  I don't see myself going back just to be treated like a pain in someone's butt.

Much nicer than the big box store on 54 by 41.  Friendly fair pricing and good selection.

Went in just to buy some paint. Made the mistake of asking an employee for advice on paint. This short little man was insulting and rude. When I asked if there was a good midrange paint. He told me I must like my walks dirty and flat. I left immediately. Came in to get advice and buy paint was insulted and spoke down to. Will not be back. Sad.

Ace Hardware is a great resource for those odds and ends that are a must for every project. But besides the hardware Lutz Ace has a boutique with gifts and such. Nice touch for a shop in Lutz. Well worth a visit.
