I really enjoy my Madsen going on 2 years now.  It's heavier than i'd like, but that makes it very sturdy.  I can't seem to make it go faster than 15 mph, but really, that's probably wise.  I can haul at least one, sometimes two, occasionally three of my kids.  It can haul kid bikes when they're tired, groceries, play equipment, backpacks and packed lunches. I get compliments on it everywhere I go.  I found the front rack hard to get used to, so i don't use it. (it does not swivel with the tire, but stays mounted to the bike frame)  My biggest complaint is that my chain comes off the rubber rollers at least once a trip.  It is not my only bike, but i've logged more than 150 miles on it.  which is a lot considering I usually only take this bike with my children along, who are now 8, 6, and 4.
