Story

The Majestic View Lodge is situated on a knoll at the entrance to Zion Canyon in the southern Utah town of Springdale. Less than three miles from our door is the south entrance to Zion National Park, one of the most frequently visited, and truly inspiring National Parks. The Park and Town of Springdale are accessible, in season, by a free shuttle which leaves regularly from our property. Off season, private vehicles are permitted on all Park roads.

The lodge opened in 2003 with 69 hotel units, to add to our existing Restaurant, Trading Post, and North American Wildlife Museum. All of which opened in 2001 in an existing log structure which was built in 1994.

The Lodge is constructed of stucco with log accents, in a two story format, with features designed to make your stay enjoyable & memorable. Each of our rooms has it's own balcony or patio with incredible views in every direction at any season of the year. The rooms feature rustic aspen furniture and complementary decor, and all are non-smoking. Each room has an iron, ironing board, hair dryer, and pool towels for your convenience.

Amenities include cable television, free wireless internet, guest laundry, an outdoor seasonally heated pool and year round hot tub. Not forgetting our full service Restaurant; The Zion Canyon Brewing Company; extensive Trading Post and Wildlife Museum.

We happily accommodate groups both large and small in our Lodge and Restaurant.

The Majestic View Lodge does not allow pets. The Doggy Dude Ranch located nearby is an excellent place to board your pets. www.doggyduderanch.com

April 15, 2018 construction will be over. Below is my email to the management, I finally got a response 5 days later after I sent an email to the General Manager the response was to contact the Department of transportation and the city. Translation 15% off $250 is all you get for the worst night of sleep ever! I’m contacting you tonight from my hotel room, I am locked in here with towels under my doors so the fumes from the asphalt don’t get in here. The entire room is vibrating, so much so that I’m feeling motion sickness. When we were informed about the construction that would go on tonight I thought okay we will just use the earplugs and hopefully get a bit of sleep regardless. There will be no sleep tonight if this vibrating continues. I also thought it would be good to get in the jacuzzi before bed but 5 minutes after we got in a wall of smoke came over the pool area and we had to run to our room. My husband and are on our first vacation without kids in 16 years. He works nights and me days so we don’t see each other much unless we are on vacation....this has ruined our time together. I’m not sure why when the hotel found out about this construction they decided to remain open during this time or at the very least not warn clients what they would be in for. We stayed in Vegas last night and would of just stayed an additional night had I known....I would of packed a tent and camped over staying her tonight. The nice people at the front desk have offered to give us a 15% discount but it’s not enough. Please advise me of what you will be willing to do to make up for this issue.

Majestic View Lodge was the perfect location for our stay. The view really was incredible, and the room was clean and comfortable. We loved being so close to Zion National Park. The only thing we would say needs improving is the continental breakfast--we would love to see some fruit or hard boiled eggs or sausage offered, for example.

I had a good night's sleep here. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. I came across no issues. There staff was all friendly and helpful, and the complimentary breakfast and pool/hot tub made for a nice stay. Location was close to Zion, but far enough away to avoid much of the crowds. I definitely recommend!

Awesome location, great price, room was very roomy and awesome bathroom with good towels. But like the guy that told us when we checked in, the free breakfast is very simple. I've had better a selection of breakfast foods at a Motel 8.

We didn't stay at the lodge, but we ate at the restaurant. View is amazing, artichoke hearts were good. Service could have been better, we waited 5 min to get water, we finished our meal and had to wait more than 10 minutes for our check. The steak was grisly and I've had better steak from Denny's. For a $32 plate I should have loved my meal. The mashed potatoes tasted as if they're from a box. My water had a moldy taste to it and my bread was dry. My sister, who i came with, had similar comments. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant.
